what is it called when you hear crystal synth waltzes & other intricate compositions where there are only fan motors humming, the moans of a distant ac or the dopplered refuse of other pedestrian mechanisms?...there must be a word for this specific mono-synesthesic phenomenon of filling in the blanks, so convincingly, that once a day, i stop & say to myself, "where is that crazy music coming from?" a full 30 seconds later, i have reduced the faint, yet elegant & ambitious harmonics down to a crude appliance. this has happened to me every day and/or night since my recent reclamation of solitude. and when my fan is going & a train screams past as an airplane leaves a sonic wake overhead...you better believe it takes me somewhere, very. very. far. away.

dream house

so far my only requirements for a dream house:

- window over the kitchen sink
- skylight in bathroom (and/or outdoor shower)
- secret dance studio to practice moves in private


(i mean, i could say other things like "a room to exclusively house a giant, glowing, pulsing obelisk" but without boundaries, the exercise of creating a list is ridiculous. which is why i hate playing scattergories with "anything goes" bozos.)
